Information You Provide

• Service request information: pickup or service location, destination or delivery location, requested date, service type, move size, inventory details, stairs, elevators, parking, building requirements, access restrictions, photos, descriptions, special instructions, and other request details.
• Provider information: business name, contact person, email address, phone number, service area, service categories, business address, website, credentials, license or registration information, insurance information, availability, pricing preferences, and other business details.
• Communications: messages, emails, calls, texts, form submissions, support requests, feedback, reviews, and other communications with InOut Move or through the Platform.
• Account information: login credentials, preferences, account settings, participation status, and related account details.
• Payment-related information: billing details, transaction records, invoices, payment status, subscription details, and related records. Payment card details may be processed by third-party payment processors and may not be stored directly by InOut Move.
• User content: reviews, ratings, photos, descriptions, profile information, business information, and other content you submit.

Information Collected Automatically

• Device and usage information: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages viewed, referring pages, time spent, links clicked, form interactions, and similar usage data.
• Log data: access times, error logs, security events, diagnostic data, and system activity.
• Cookies and similar technologies: cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, analytics identifiers, advertising identifiers, and similar technologies.
• Approximate location information: information inferred from IP address, ZIP code, service address, or request details.

3. Sources of Information

We may collect information directly from you, automatically from your device or browser, from your interactions with the Platform, from independent service providers, from customers, from business partners, from communications tools, from payment processors, from analytics and advertising tools, and from publicly available sources.

• to enable independent service providers to evaluate, respond to, communicate about, quote, schedule, or perform specific requests;

• to send administrative, transactional, security, account, billing, and support messages;
• to send marketing or promotional communications where permitted by law;
• to process payments, subscriptions, platform fees, invoices, refunds, credits, and related billing matters;
• to personalize and improve user experience;
• to analyze Platform performance, usage, traffic, and marketing effectiveness;
• to prevent, detect, investigate, or respond to fraud, spam, misuse, unauthorized access, data misuse, security incidents, or unlawful activity;

• With independent service providers: to enable providers to evaluate, respond to, communicate about, quote, schedule, or perform specific customer requests.
• With customers: to provide provider responses, business information, communications, or other information related to a customer request.
• With service providers and vendors: to support hosting, forms, communications, email, SMS, customer management, payments, analytics, advertising, security, fraud prevention, data storage, and other business operations.
• With payment processors: to process payments, subscriptions, invoices, refunds, credits, chargebacks, and related billing matters.
• With advertising and analytics partners: to understand Platform usage, measure campaigns, improve advertising, and support marketing activities.
• For legal and safety reasons: to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our terms, prevent harm, protect rights, or investigate misuse.

6. Sharing With Independent Service Providers

When a customer submits a service request, InOut Move may make information from that request available to independent service providers so they can evaluate, respond to, communicate about, quote, schedule, or perform the specific request.

Information shared with providers may include contact information, request details, service location, move-related information, photos, timing preferences, special instructions, and other information submitted by the customer or generated in connection with the request.

InOut Move may use proprietary, automated, semi-automated, or manual tools and processes to determine how requests are processed, categorized, displayed, made available, or communicated to providers. These processes are part of the Platform’s technology and do not constitute an endorsement, guarantee, assignment, booking, employment relationship, agency relationship, or service agreement.

7. Provider Use Restrictions

Independent service providers may use customer information obtained through the Platform only for the purpose of evaluating, responding to, communicating about, quoting, scheduling, or performing the specific customer request for which the information was made available.

Providers may not sell, resell, share, transfer, publish, scrape, copy, store for unrelated purposes, or use customer information for unrelated marketing, solicitation, spam, lead resale, data brokerage, or any purpose not authorized by our Terms of Use, provider terms, this Policy, or applicable law.

Providers are responsible for protecting customer information and complying with all privacy, data protection, consumer protection, communications, advertising, and industry-specific laws applicable to their use of customer information.

8. Service Providers and Vendors

We may use third-party vendors and service providers to operate the Platform and our business. These may include website hosting providers, form tools, cloud storage providers, communications providers, email providers, SMS providers, payment processors, analytics providers, advertising platforms, customer management tools, fraud prevention tools, security tools, and professional advisors.

These vendors may process information on our behalf or as otherwise permitted by their own terms and policies. We use reasonable efforts to select vendors appropriate for our business needs, but we are not responsible for third-party services that you choose to use independently.

10. Communications, Calls, and Texts

We may use email, telephone calls, and text messages to communicate about bookings, customer service, support, provider participation, account activity, security, and other operational matters.

We do not currently use telephone calls or SMS messages for promotional marketing. Operational text messages may be sent when reasonably necessary in connection with a booking, support request, account, or Platform activity. Message and data rates may apply.

You may reply STOP to discontinue applicable text messages, although we may still contact you through other channels when reasonably necessary to provide support, address security issues, comply with law, or respond to your request.

11. Payment Information

Customers generally pay service providers directly for services performed, and InOut Move does not collect payment from customers for those provider services.

Approved providers may pay InOut Move for access to customer opportunities or other paid Platform features. These transactions may be managed through third-party checkout and payment-processing services.

InOut Move does not store complete payment card numbers or card security codes. Payment processors may provide limited transaction information, such as the payer’s name, billing contact information, transaction amount, payment status, payment method type, card brand, last four digits, transaction identifiers, refunds, credits, disputes, or chargeback information.

We use payment-related information to complete transactions, provide access to paid Platform features, maintain business and accounting records, prevent fraud, process refunds or credits where applicable, respond to disputes, and comply with legal obligations.

12. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Platform, process bookings, support provider participation, maintain transaction and business records, respond to users, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, and protect the security and integrity of the Platform.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, the purpose for which it was collected, account or provider status, transaction history, dispute or chargeback activity, legal requirements, and legitimate business needs.

Payment, transaction, tax, accounting, dispute, consent, security, and compliance records may be retained for longer periods when reasonably necessary or required by law. When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete, anonymize, aggregate, or securely dispose of it.

13. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. However, no website, platform, communication method, database, or electronic storage system is completely secure.

You are responsible for using the Platform safely, protecting your account credentials, using secure devices and networks, and promptly notifying us of any suspected unauthorized access or misuse.
