InOut Move FAQ

These answers help customers understand the request process before deciding whether to move forward with any independent provider.

Is there a payment required to submit a request?

No. There is no payment required to submit a moving-related service request. Submitting a request is not a confirmed booking, reservation, quote, estimate, or service contract with InOut Move.

How does the request process work?

You submit a request with the key details of the help you need, including location, schedule, service type, access details, and other relevant information. Your request may be processed and, when applicable, made available for independent provider response. You decide whether to communicate further or move forward with any provider.

What moving-related help can I request?

You can submit requests for loading, unloading, labor-only moving help, packing help, furniture moving, local move support, storage or container help, and other services connected to moving day.

Can I request labor-only moving help?

Yes. Labor-only help is for customers who already have a rental truck, container, storage unit, or other transportation arranged and mainly need physical moving help such as loading, unloading, or moving items.

Can I request moving help with a truck?

Yes. Some requests may involve moving help with a truck. Provider availability depends on the location, service date, move size, route, access conditions, and local coverage.

Can I request help for storage units or portable containers?

Yes. You can submit requests for help loading or unloading storage units, portable containers, rental trucks, or similar moving setups.

Can I request services related to moving day?

Yes. Depending on the area and provider availability, customers may submit requests for related services such as junk removal, move-out cleaning, furniture assembly, TV mounting, handyman help, packing supplies, and portable storage help.

Are requests supported everywhere?

Provider availability may vary by location, schedule, service type, requested help, truck needs, access conditions, and local coverage. InOut Move is expanding across selected U.S. markets.

What happens after I submit a request?

After your request is submitted, your details may be processed and, when applicable, made available for independent provider response. You may receive follow-up by email, text, or phone depending on your request information and the status of the request.

Are bookings guaranteed?

No. Submitting a request does not guarantee provider availability, scheduling, pricing, acceptance, or completion of service. Availability depends on the details of the request and local provider coverage.

Do I choose whether to move forward?

Yes. You stay in control. Submitting a request does not require you to hire anyone. You decide whether any provider response or follow-up makes sense for your move.

Can independent service providers apply to participate?

Yes. Independent moving-related service providers and service businesses can apply to participate through the Partner With Us page. Participation is subject to platform rules, eligibility, service area, and applicable terms.

Important: InOut Move is a technology platform for moving-related service requests. We do not provide moving services, assign providers, set prices, prepare moving estimates, or guarantee provider availability. The more accurate the request, the easier it is for the request to be understood and, when applicable, made available for provider response.
